01What a prototype means here
Not a slide deck and not a mockup: a working thing, built against your real data sources, that you can click through in days. The Instant Lawn Estimate for Montgomery Landscape started as exactly that — type an address, get a parcel, a measured lawn and a price — and was in production use within weeks, iterated to its twenty-seventh version.
02What it grows into
Prototyping is step one, not the product. The same codebase becomes the full website or custom app: accounts and sign-in, an admin console, email, and Stripe when the tool should bring money in. Three of the products in the showcase — Hall's Harvest Apiary, Prep for CISA and Coursing Club — have Stripe checkout, subscriptions or licences built in.
03Real integrations
Maps and parcel records, payments, email, Google Sheets, booking systems like Square, weather and sports data feeds. Coursing Club alone runs a scraper, a de-duplication pipeline, authentication, charts and a premium tier over 73,000 dogs' worth of data.
04Before anyone outside touches it
Every release is versioned and hash-verified, comes with a UAT checklist, and gets a security review before external users are let in. Coursing Club went through a six-dimension adversarial audit that surfaced 63 confirmed issues — all criticals and highs fixed before launch.
