01The brief

I passed the CISA with a notebook full of hand-written notes and a conviction that exam prep is overpriced and under-explained. The product had to be honest about what it is — original practice material, not exam content — and cheap enough to be a no-brainer.

02What I built

1,000 original questions weighted to ISACA's five domains, each explaining why the right option is right and why each wrong one is wrong; a 329-term glossary; a 150-question, four-hour simulator; a study guide with block-level read-aloud narration; a drill mode; the author's digitized pass notes as a notebook; progress export and import; and a build step that inlines everything into one HTML file that runs from a desktop icon with no server. Checkout is a $17 lifetime license through Stripe, with the sandbox purchase verified end to end.

03Outcome

Live at prepforcisa.com: 1,000 questions, the simulator, the glossary and the desktop build, with the $17 lifetime checkout running through Stripe.
